Personal

Get to know me better

I have felt at home all over the world, yet with a nagging feeling of not truly belonging to any particular place or group. This persistent feeling, which emerged during my teenage years, has grown from my experiences with in-betweenness as a bicultural and third culture kid. The question of where I truly come from and who I really am has led me on a personal therapeutic journey for many years.

This existential search has often been painful. Today I feel less pain and more curiosity and joy about the gifts that in-betweenness has given me. It has broadened my ability to embrace different perspectives and to meet people with openness, regardless of their background, right where they are.

Professional background

Education and experience

I am a certified therapist with a foundation in integrative psychotherapy, specializing in psychosynthesis. I have over 10 years of experience in occupational health, working in both government roles and corporate health environments.

I am trained in trauma management, compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness, Nonviolent Communication and coaching. I work with evidence-based approaches including CBT and ACT, alongside somatic and body-based methods.

At university I studied Strategic communication and PR. I regularly engage in supervision and deepen my expertise through courses and workshops related to my field. Confidentiality and consent are paramount in my practice. I am fully insured and a proud member of the Psychosynthesis Association.

Treatment methods

An approach shaped around you.

01

I work on your terms

I offer therapy online by video and in person in Stockholm. This means you can access support from anywhere in the world or meet me face to face if you are local.

02

Flexibility that fits your life

Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes. We usually start weekly, then adjust the frequency based on your needs and progress. Some people work with me for a few months, others for years. It depends on what you are working through.

03

My approach

As an integrative therapist, I draw from CBT, ACT, psychosynthesis, compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness, somatic experiencing and breathwork.

I combine talk therapy with body-based work because lasting change involves both. Survival patterns do not only live in the mind; they also live in the nervous system.

I tailor each session to your needs, strengths and challenges. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, navigate your feelings and live with more presence and authenticity.

04

What to expect

In our first session, I will ask what brought you here and what you want to change. We will talk about your patterns and create a plan for our work together.

In ongoing sessions, we check in on your week, work with patterns as they appear and practise new ways of being. This is practical work: you will leave with things to try, not only things to think about.

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
